Franschhoek Vineyards was founded in 1945 by a group of local farmers to vinify their grapes on a cooperative basis. They are now part of the premium wine stable of DGB Ltd.
Named after the monument built in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the French Huguenots in the Cape.
This Sauvignon Blanc has tangy cool climate tropical and citrus aromas. Grapefruit and pineapple fruit lead through to a finish of pleasing length. Good with prawns, salmon, calamari and creamy mussels.
